Notice for dog owners

We would like to inform you about the issue of dog ownership the following:

  • Each year, each dog owner must secure the relevant license of possession by the Community Council.

  •  Do not let your dog move freely around the streets.

  • When you take your dog for a walk, the dog should always be tied up. Please ensure they do not foul on the streets, sidewalks and so on. If so, please be sure to pick it up.

  •  Take proper care of your dog. Do not allow the creation of nuisance from continuous barking.

  • To keep your dog in a suitable place (which must also include a safe space for the dog to go to the toilet) and to take care of its daily cleanliness so as not to cause bad odour and to also not pose risks to public health.

As many of you are dog owners, please seriously take the above into account. In case the above is not applied, the request of the council is that you do so immediately.
It is worth mentioning that seven out of ten complaints we receive daily are from people concerning dogs.
The Council is determined to resolve this problem and those who do not implement the above measures will find themselves in the unfortunate position of taking drastic measures against them, not excluding judicial.
